Dutch projects

In addition to the projects and initiatives of the members of the CIZG, there are also developments in other areas in the Netherlands in the field of complementary healthcare and integrated health.

Choice aid for Complementary Care for Children with Cancer

Parents of children with cancer appear to use supplementary healthcare during or after treatment in 40% of the cases to improve the well-being of their child. Despite the fact that more than 70% of the users are satisfied with this decision, it appears that there is little knowledge about the complementary healthcare that is chosen. In addition, regular practitioners are often not aware of these additional resources, while such healthcare is increasingly being used and reimbursed. That is why “Keuzehulp Complementaire Zorg voor Kinderen met Kanker” has been developed (2015-2016).
